PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To perform drive control of a rotary electric machine while reducing heat generation of an inverter or carrier noise.SOLUTION: If torque Tmg of a motor generator 18 is high torque, an execution time ratio of a synchronous PWM control mode in a low carrier frequency fc is increased, thereby suppressing heat generation of switching elements 32U, 33U, 32V, 33V, 32W and 33W. If the torque Tmg of the motor generator 18 is low torque, on the other hand, an execution time ratio of an asynchronous PWM control mode in which the carrier frequency fc is changed is increased, thereby reducing a peak value of frequency characteristics of carrier noise.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 4 |
