PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a sealant for an organic electroluminescent display element, which is capable of suppressing the occurrence of outgassing and is excellent in storage stability and applicability.SOLUTION: The sealant for an organic electroluminescent display element contains a cationically polymerizable compound and a cationic polymerization initiator. The cationically polymerizable compound contains a compound represented by a specific formula. The viscosity of the sealant for an organic electroluminescent display element is 50-250 mPa s as measured under conditions of 25°C and 50 rpm by using an E-type viscometer.SELECTED DRAWING: None
