PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a lead storage battery capable of obtaining excellent cycle characteristics.SOLUTION: A lead storage battery has a negative electrode material which contains (A) a negative electrode active material, (B) Ketjen black (R), and (C) a bisphenol-based resin obtained by reaction of (a) bisphenol A and bisphenol S, (b) at least one kind selected from the group consisting of aminobenzenesulfonic acid and derivatives of aminobenzenesulfonic acid, and (c) at least one kind selected from the group consisting of formaldehyde and derivatives of formaldehyde.SELECTED DRAWING: None |
