PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide novel sustained release oral dosage forms of an R-baclofen prodrug.SOLUTION: The oral tablet dosage form comprises about 3-20% by weight of (3R)-4-{[(1S)-2-methyl-1-(2-methylpropanoyloxy)propoxy]carbonylamino}-3-(4-chlorophenyl)butanoic acid or a pharmaceutically acceptable salt thereof; about 15-40% by weight of microcrystalline cellulose; about 15-40% by weight of hydroxypropyl methylcellulose; and about 3-30% by weight of a release rate-controlling polymer, on the basis of total weight of the dosage form.SELECTED DRAWING: None
