<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an antioxidant which can be used in a given application and is not suffered from any defects of known antioxidants. <P>SOLUTION: The glass composition having an antioxidative effect is composed of glass ceramics, fibers, granules, spheres and glass powders, wherein the glass powders are preferably glass spheres in particular having a particle size of <10μm and <5μm.
