The object is first introduced without current flow into a cell which enables the surface area to be assessed by exposing it for a short time to a sufficiently high potential supplied by a special rectifier, and missing the test current flow. Together with desired removal current density, a factor is calculated analogically and the required value is sent to an electrolytic process controller. |
