PURPOSE:To lower ozone concentration and temperature in a device by providing an air supply/exhaust fan in addition to an ozone decomposing means and an air exhaust fan and periodically switching and controlling air supply and exhaustion based on an ambient temperature and the ozone concentration. CONSTITUTION:The air exhaust fan 3 allows air containing ozone to pass into the ozone decomposing means 2 of a copying machine main body 1, and brings the air into contact with an ozone decomposing agent and discharges the air outside the device. The air supply/exhaust fan 4 is provided close to the fan 3, and is controlled by a control means 8 via a driving means 9 based on detection signals from a temperature detecting element 6 and an ozone sensor 7 provided in front of a photosensitive drum 5. Consequently, the ozone concentration and ambient temperature in the device can be reduced. |
