PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a reactor, capable of making proper catalyst reaction, by unifying the temperature of gas, to be distributed in a catalyst layer, in a fuel cell reactor having double cylindrical pipe structure provided in the periphery of a high temperature body. SOLUTION: In a CO transformer 4, a preheating tank 40 is provided around a buffer tank 39, and a heat conductive partition plate 38 partitions both the buffering and preheating tanks 39 and 40. In the partitioning plate 38, a gas communicating port 38a, from the preheating tank 40 to the buffer tank 39, is provided on a portion spaced by neary a half periphery in an annular space from a gas inlet 42. When gas flows in the preheat tank 40, temperature is increased by receiving heat from the buffer tank 39. While when the gas flows in the buffer tank 39, heat is transmitted from the high temperature reformer 3 to be absorbed in the preheat tank 40, thereby unifying the temperature of gas to be distributed in the catalyst layer 35. |
