<p>1287170 Liquid draw-off assembly AMSTEL BROUWERIJ NV 9 July 1960 [16 July 1969] 33441/70 Heading B8T A plastics draw-off tube 1 comprises an extension 2 joined at a boundary surface 3 by friction fusion. Radial arms 7, strengthened by ribs 8 terminate in portions 9. The extension 2 is enclosed by a head 10 and casing 14 which has a radial flange 11 with flattened portions 12. Each of four arms 16 has a rectangular opening 17 incorporating a step 18 into which engages the portion 9 of the radial arms 7. A space 22 contains a rubber ring valve 23 and a loaded spring 24 between which is a metal dished ring 25. A dispenser (not shown) on flange 11 disengages the valve 23 from the edges 13 and 5 thereby freeing passsages 6. Pressurized gas flows via the edge 13, space 22 between the arms 7 into the cask causing beer to be forced up the tube 1 and through passages 6 to the dispenser.</p> |
