The rotary pump, compressor or motor unit operates in the manner of a gear pump. It comprises a housing with two intersecting cylindrical bores and inlet and outlet. Each bore contains a rotor, one rotor having one recess which is engaged by a single tooth by the other rotor as they rotate. The rotor shafts are coupled by external gear wheels.
