PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To reduce the handling time to reset a specified paper and futile use of paper sheet by attaining printing on the paper of a paper size one or more integer number times that of a specified paper, when the paper of the specified size is not housed in a cassette. SOLUTION: In a state in which the fact that the specified paper is housed in the cassette is not detected by a paper size detecting part C, but the fact that the paper of the size one or more integer number times of that of the paper specified by a user is housed, the state where the paper of the specified size is housed in the cassette, is detected by the paper size detecting part C. That the specified paper is not housed but printing on the paper of the size one or more integer number times larger is possible is displayed on a display part H, to inform a user. When a request for printing on the paper of the size one or more integer number times larger is selected by the user, the expansion of printing data is reset, the paper is fed from the feeding cassette housing the paper one or more integer number times larger and the printing data is outputted. |
