发明名称 MANUFACTURE OF POSITIVE POLE FOR BATTERY WITH ORGANIC SOLVENT
摘要 PURPOSE:To obtain an electrode having good binding characteristic and sufficient mechanical strength, by milling at a specified temperature a mixture of calcined manganese dioxide, electrically conductive agent, and a predetermined amount of polytetrafluoroethylene into a sheet. CONSTITUTION:A mixture of positive pole compound consisting of manganese dioxide calcined at 250-450 deg.C, graphite, acetylene black and metal powder as electrically conductive agents, and 0.5-4.0% by weight of polytetrafluoroethylene powder as a binder is milled in a milling machine in a temperature range of 100- 320 deg.C, and then formed into a sheet. The sheet is punched into a predetermined shape to prepare a positive pole 1. For example, 90.6% by weight of manganese dioxide calcined at 360 deg.C, 7.4% by weight of graphite powder, and 2.0% by weight of polytetrafluoroethylene powder are mixed together means of a V mixer and then kneaded at 200 deg.C in a milling machine. Then, it is formed into a sheet of 0.5mm. thick by means of rolls maintained at 150 deg.C, and further punched into a disc-like configuration to prepare a positive electrode 1.
