<p>A method of increasing the reaction rate of the polymerization and/ or cross-linking of reactive polymerizable and/or cross-linkable acrylic monomeric materials initiated by dialkyl or diaralkyl peroxides as the free radical generator which comprises carrying out such a polymerization and/or cross-linking reaction in the presence of a member of the group consisting of stannous alkanoates, alkenoates, aralkanoates and aralkenoates, dialkyl tin dialkanoates, dialkenoates, diaralkanoates and diaralkenoates, or mixtures thereof in various proportions.</p> |
