PURPOSE:To make the clearance between a bearing and a bearing box null so that the step of adjusting the clearance may be eliminated, by securing upper and lower metal beds supporting upper and lower bearing members, to upper and lower bearing boxes with the use of a Bellerville spring. CONSTITUTION:Upper and lower metal beds 7, 3 which hold upper and lower bearing members 6, 4, are secured to upper and lower bearing boxes 8, 2 by means of a Bellerville spring 15. Even if the upper bearing box 8 and the upper metal bed 7 which are the contact parts by the Bellerville spring 15, are worn due to vibration during operation, the fixing force follows up the abrasion so that the bearing is always secured to assure the stable operation of a rotary machine. Thereby, the step of adjusting the clearance between the bearng and the bearing box may be eliminated. |
