PURPOSE:To improve the accuracy in pressing by disposing symmetrically divided plate materials on both sides of a central female die adjustable to a suitable height, placing the same on two pieces of outside female dies of which the distances between the fulcrums are adjustable, and pressing the materials by means of male dies having the curved face of the radius of curvature smaller than the curvature on the inside surface of the equatorial ring in the upper part thereof. CONSTITUTION:Divided plate materials 1 of an equatorial ring are disposed on both sides of a central female die 4 adjustable to a suitable height via liners 3, and are placed on two pieces of outside female dies 5, 6 of which the distances between the fulcrums are adjustable, via distances 7. The materials 1 are successively pressed and bent at a suitable pitch from the end part to the other end part by male dies 12 worked to the curved face smaller than the curvature on the inside surface of the equatorial ring. The intermediate parts of the materials 1 are then successively bent and pressed in the opposite direction. |
