<p>TITLE: ANTIBODIES SPECIFIC TO ENDOTOXINS APPLICANT: STEPHEN LESLIE GAFFIN There is provided a composition containing a mixture of antibodies specific to endotoxins which are harmful to animal or human life. The antibodies are specific to endotoxins produced by gram negative bacteria of the genus Salmonella, Shigella, Eschericia, Pseudomonas, Serratia, Vibrio, Yersinia etc. A mixture of antigens capable of triggering immunological response in a mammal are injected into a mammal to produce the antibodies. These may be incorporated in milk or its derivatives for use or prophylaxis or prepared as a composition suitable for parenteral or oral administration in the prevention or treatment of gram negative septicaemic or endotoxaemia.</p> |
