PURPOSE:To obtain a fruit body readily eatable at any time and place, by powdering a fruit and tableting the resultant powder by the well-known method. CONSTITUTION:A fruit is dried by, e.g. vacuum freeze-drying method, and the resultant powder is tableted in a tableting machine. In this case, vitamin C is destroyed as nutriments, but 90% protein, lipid, etc., other than the vitamin C is the same as raw food. Vitamin C may be added to enrich the tablet. The tableted fruit body is capable of giving fruity taste and nutriment to even old persons or persons with bad teeth. Examples of the fruit to be used include pomes, e.g. apples, stone fruits, e.g. peaches, nuts, e.g. chestnuts, etc. Grapes may be cited as the viny fruit trees. |
