Device for the electrical automation of translation movements. The invention relates to a device able to produce all types of stroke with no risk of damage to the mechanism at the end of the stroke. It consists of a low-pressure jack 16 operated by one or two centrifugal pumps 3 and 4 which are connected to a buffer reservoir 11. The device of the invention is particularly intended for the industrial automated operation of doors, trapdoors, shutters and various security devices. <IMAGE>
