<p>A window comprises transparent window panes surrounded by a sash consisting of such bars (1) rigidly interconnected at their ends and having glazing retaining strips (5). Each sash bar is integral with the associated glazing retaining strip. Each glazing retaining strip has an undercut (6) with a sloping upper edge (7) in the groove (2) of the sash bar which receives the window pane. The angle between the sloping upper edge of the undercut and the bottom (10) of the groove is approximately 30° - 40°. A recess (8) whose lower edge (9) lies on the projection of the bottom of the groove is arranged on the outer face (11) of the sash bar. The distance between the bottom of the groove at the undercut edge and the recess in the outer face of the sash bar is approximately 4 mm.</p> |
