A circumferential web extends between, and is connected to, the radially inner and outer portions. To each side of the circumferential web there is a set of circumferentially spaced ribs (45, 49). Each rib extends between and is connected to the radially inner and outer portions of the tire. Each rib is also connected to the web. A characterizing feature of the tire is that the circumferential web comprises consecutive web sections (53) extending in alternate directions. |
