The compound is used for blasting very hard rocks in inundated and dry mining faces. It ensures stable detonation velocity within the range 3900-4000 m/sec. fixed in a polyethylene 50mm hose and offers increased water resistance and low percentage of dissolved matter - 10-15 %. The blasting compound contains in weight %: ammonium nitrate 50-50, Trotile flakes 25-35 and cross-linked polymer 25-35, prepared on the basis of hydrolysed polyacrylonitrile with the following structural formula:<IMAGE>with end functional groups - CH2 and - CH3 a molecular weight 55,000+-200.
