The robot is used for automation of main and ancillary technological processes in machine building requiring broad range motion of the robot along compound transverse beams. It is characterized by a simple and efficient structure ensuring smooth, non-shock transition of the trolley at the site of stacking of the compound transverse beam simplifying and decreasing operation duration. At the site place of stacking of the robot compound beam, a technological gap (B) is located in between the guides, which has spherical rollers mounted on V-shaped grooves on a bearing. The guides on the upper side of the compound transverse beam are arranged in one line, and those on the lower side are arranged in two separate parallel lines, one for each of the parts (2 and 3) of the compound transverse beam. Additional rollers duplicate each of the main spherical rollers. The upper rollers are in contact with the V-shaped grooves along the full length of the compound transverse beam. The lower additional rollers have protracted axles and are in contact with the V-shaped grooves only when the trolley (5) is moving along part (3) of the main transverse, while the other lower rollers are in contact with the V-shaped grooves only when the trolley (5) is moving along part (2) of the compound transverse beam.
