COMPLEX OF SURFACTANT WITH POLYMER

PURPOSE:To obtain the title complex useful for a cell culture medium by mixing a specific polymer with a natural lipid or a double-chain type surfactant. CONSTITUTION:A polymer component comprising a terminal olefin/maleic anhydride copolymer having a long chain alkyl group or a long chain alkyl vinyl ether/maleic anhydride copolymer [e.g. a poly(maleic anhydride-octadecene-1)] is mixed with a natural lipid or a double-chain type surfactant (e.g. a compound of formula I or II).
