<p>PURPOSE:To obtain high image quality by providing a 1st scanning line which is formed except at a part superposed upon a picture element electrode and a 2nd scanning line which covers the 1st scanning line and has an electrode for additional capacity. CONSTITUTION:The 1st scanning line is formed except at the part superposed upon the picture element electrode 11 and the 2nd scanning line 18 covers the 1st scanning line 15. The 2nd scanning line 18 has the electrode 19 for additional capacity superposed upon the picture element electrode 11 and the additional capacity is formed between the additional capacity electrode 19 and picture element electrode 11. Thus, the scanning lines are formed in two-layered structure and then, for example, the 1st scanning line 15 is formed of metal with small specific resistance to reduce the resistance of the scanning lines. Consequently, even a large-sized display device has high image quality while the signal delay on the scanning lines is precluded.</p> |
