<p>PURPOSE:To improve the visual recognizing performance for production of a document and to cause no change of the operating feeling with a menu window despite the switching of screens by securing a constitution where the icon data are outputted along the end part of a long side, i.e., a short side of a display enable area and the document can be produced with the largest number of horizontal characters 5 in the vertical display of the display enable area and with the largest number of vertical lines in the horizontal display of the display enable area respectively. CONSTITUTION:The vertical/horizontal change of a display enable area 26 is possible with rotation of a display unit 3 and at the same time the icon data are outputted to the area 26 along the end part of a long side, i.e., a short side of the area 26. Then a menu window is shown at the center of a screen in accordance with the screen size of a KANJI (Chinese character) display area 25, etc.</p> |
