PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To control a recording mark to be recorded in a recording medium in high accuracy and to improve the reliability of information and the capacity of recording. SOLUTION: The recording pulse line is formed of a trial-writing-data generating circuit 18 and a recording-pulse generating circuit 15 so as to improve the compatibility of a recording medium and a device for performing recording, reproduction and erasing. A recording mark is recorded in a recording medium 5 with a laser driver 14. Then trail writing data from a trial-writing-data detecting circuit 12 by the reproducing signal of the recording medium 5 are detected. The values of these data are judged with a controller 19. Then, the overpower record is suppressed by changing the power scanning range, and the optimum recording power is determined. Thus, the recording and the reproduction of the regular information is performed. |
