Such a calibration device achieves the effect that there is no longer any need for an exact positioning of the calibration units 5 to 7 arranged one behind the other. Since, therefore, the profile passes the individual calibration units without side deflection or jamming, the individual calibration unit can be designed with close dimensional tolerances, utilising the load-bearing capacity of the profile, without inducing excessive shrinkage in the profile. <IMAGE>
