<p>PURPOSE: To enable high speed access by performing operation under a brake mode at the time of stopping a pickup too and hence quickly performing tracking. CONSTITUTION: A lock signal or an unlocking signal is outputted by a lock signal generating block 100. A brake driving signal is outputted by a microcomputer 120 from the time of stopping a feed motor for moving the pickup from a disk in a radial direction until its locking state. The unlocking signal is only outputted during a period of outputting a feed mode driving signal by a logical means 140, and a brake circuit 200 is operated in a brake mode, so as to quickly perform the tracking by suppressing a signal of a lens. A brake circuit 200 becomes the brake mode at the time of stopping the pickup by the lock signal outputted from the logical means 140, so as to carry out the tracking.</p> |
