<p>PURPOSE: To make it possible to improve sound quality even when a double error arises in received speech data by interpolating the speech data in which a single or a double error incorrectable by an error correction circuit arises. CONSTITUTION: A speech data interpolation circuit is provided with a data conversion part to convert inputted serial speech data into parallel data and a pulse generation part 200 to generate interpolation pulses, channel gating pulses, and loading pulses by a double error signal and a clock signal outputted from a BCH error correction circuit. And, in the case of a singly double error, sample data existing before and after the error arose are added to each other and are averaged. In the case of a successive double error, sample data before the error arose are held as they were, and an average of the sum of the sample data existing before and after the error is adopted as a final double error.</p> |
