A metering vessel (1) is connected with the pump (2) via a feed-pipe (22) to a separator (21), the pipe having a dewatering pipe (6) enclosed by a water-collecting vessel (7). The insertion pipe (9) at the combustion chamber is enclosed by an inner cooling pipe (12a) supplying a further cooling chamber (13b). The separator consists of an enclosed housing with a blow-back flame-trap formed by a central length of pipe and which is joined to a heat-resistant plate. ADVANTAGE - Explosion-proof supply of powder, and allows continuous combustion at constant and low temperature.
