SOLUTION: This vitamin D receptor isoform protein is a new gene capable of coding a vitamin D receptor isoform protein containing an amino acid sequence represented by the formula and is useful in the production of a vitamin D receptor isoform protein useful for the diagnosis of bone density and the elucidation, treatment, etc., of diseases related to the vitamin D receptor isoform such as osteoporosis, fracture, secondary hyperthyroidism, immunopathy or dermatopathy.
