A description is given of powder coating compositions comprising a) an organic f ilm-forming binder and b) as stabilizer i) at least one compound of the formula I <IMG> in which x is preferably 1 and R1 is preferably C1-C4alkyl; or ii) at least one compound from the group of the sterically hindered amines, and iii) at least one compound from the group of the organic phosphites or phosphonites. With powder coating compositions stab ilized in this way the discolouration of the coating materials in the course of heat curin g, especially gas oven curing, is reduced.
