<p>PURPOSE:To drastically improve workability by installing a joint pulling-out inspection device, boot assembly position detecting device and a boot band tightening device, on a head. CONSTITUTION:The shaft part of a uniform speed joint 12 is clamped by a collet chuck. Then, a head 63 is raised, and the pulling-cut inspection for the drive shaft 11 of the uniform speed joint 12 is carried out by a joint pulling-out inspection device 71. Then, the installation bracket of a boot assembly position detecting device 75 is lowered, and a pin is brought into contact with the end surface of a boot 14 or 15, and a prescribed assembly position is detected by a photoelectric switch. Then, a boot band which is temporarily tightened previously on the outer periphery of the boot is mainly tightened by a rubber boot tightening device 76 and a resin boot tightening device 77.</p> |
