PURPOSE:To provide a transmitter with which transmission efficiency can be improved. CONSTITUTION:Plural indoor machines as first terminal equipment, plural outdoor machines as second terminal equipment and controller are connected through a bus for signal transmission. Concerning normal packets 1 to 5 to be transmitted from this controller to the indoor machines, the outdoor machines transmit packets for standstill time to the controller within a reception inhibition period T4 after the lapse of a bus idle period T2 and a synchronism recovery monitor period T3 from the end of transmission of the normal packet 1 between the normal packets 1 and 2, for example, in a pause term T1 for the continuous normal packets 1 to 4. Therefore, the packet for pause time can be exchanged during the pause time without affecting the exchange of normal packets. |
