WOVEN GAUZES

摘要

FIELD: production of wire gauze of leno weave used in manufacture of building materials and structural glass-reinforced plastic. SUBSTANCE: the technical results is attained due to location of ends of weft threads in the plane of gauze by reducing interaction between warp and weft in zone of edge. Left-hand and right-hand edge threads are used in form of 2-6 threads of warp which are thinner by 1.1-100 times than the warp threads of the web inner area. In this case edge threads are interwoven in pairs and located at a distance governed by the thickness of weft and reed number. EFFECT: higher efficiency.
