Climbing plants (8) are planted laterally to the shelter and in the area of the slender grid (4) to form a tight plant roof. The actual roof (6) of the shelter is removable after formation of the plant roof. The roof is supported by guide rails, guide rollers or profile strips, which are fixed to the supports (1). For securing the roof, front and rear stops are provided which are pivotable. The roof and the slender grid are arched in a part-circular manner. The slender grid is arranged on the outside of the roof and comprises a bent building steel mat.
