PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To improve the current follow-up capability of a motor when the rotating speed increases or torque is suddenly changed by comparing a monitored/estimated voltage command value and a DC voltage value and then determining a current command pattern for each phase of the motor according to the comparison result. SOLUTION: A reference current calculating means 1 calculates, from a torque command value given from outside, a reference current value for determining a current command value for each phase of a motor 5. A current command calculating means 2 calculates a current command value for each phase of the motor 5 from the reference current value calculated by the reference current calculating means 1 and a standardized current command value determined by a current command pattern determining means 8. A current controlling means 3 calculates a command value of the voltage to be applied to the motor from the current command value calculated by the current command calculating means 2 and a motor current detected value detected by a motor current detecting means. A selection pattern judging means 9 compares the magnitude of the voltage command value from the current controlling means 3 and that of the voltage of a DC power supply and then determines a current command pattern to be used from the comparison result. |
