PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent any drop of brightness by restricting leakage of light to the outside be means of a simple composition. SOLUTION: One end of a lamp reflector 4 is folded in the direction in contact with a reflective sheet 2 and the folded back part 9 is brought in close contact with a light guide plate 1 by a retainer plate 7 via a reflective sheet 2. Accordingly, even though the retainer plate 7 bends, by means of the elasticity of the folded back part 9, the end part of the lamp reflector 4 touches the light guide plate 1 via the reflective sheet 2 and the light of a fluorescent tube 3 can not leak outside and effectively become incident on the light guide plate 1.
