<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To uniformly support a magnetic tape and to stably drive it by holding a pinch-roller by a supporting base and a control member with the specified degree of freedom in the direction of a capstan without fixing the pinch-roller to a turning arm. SOLUTION: When the completion of the preparation for the forward running of the magnetic tape is detected by a detection switch, the capstan 5 is rotated counterclockwise by the tape recorder 30 to drive the magnetic tape for performing the reproducing operation. At this time, also reel disks 3, 4 are similarly driven to turn counterclockwise, then the take-up and the supply of the magnetic tape are respectively executed. The almost same procedure is taken also in the case of the operation in the backward direction. That is, the control member 17 is driven in the direction of X2 in the figure and a head assembly 14 is inversed by 180 deg., and accompanying therewith, the pinch- roller 8 is pushed by a cam surface and displaced in the direction of Y1 and held in the direction of Y1-Y2 with the specified degree of freedom. When the supporting base 15 is moved in the direction of Y1, the magnetic tape is inserted and held between the pinch-roller and the capstan by the specified pressure.</p> |
