<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain an polarizer for a full color optical valve projection system and a color beam splitter which are small in size with simple structure and easily produced by permitting an interface means to transmit first polarized light beam and a first color received from a first color separating means onto an optical valve. SOLUTION: A light source providing an input light beam to a first optical axis and the first to third optical valves 120, 124 and 128 modulating first to third color light beams are included. Moreover, a color and angle sensing interface 110 which reflects and transmits a part of indicent light is included. Then, the corresponding color separating means receive a corresponding polarizing state and the corresponding color light beam from the interface 110 so as to reflect it or transmit it to the corresponding optical valve. Then, the angle between the color separating means and the optical axis is made to be min., the phase transition of the polarized light beam is reduced and a contrast is increased while keeping a compact size.</p> |
