PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To make an icon display part easily watchable even in darkness with a simple structure in the case of a transmission type provided with a touch switch panel on the upper surface side of a liquid crystal display panel and having the icon display part at the position corresponding to a prescribed part of this touch switch panel. SOLUTION: An opening part 51 is formed at a prescribed part of a light shielding film 22C provided in a non-display area on the lower surface of an upside transparent substrate 21 of a liquid crystal display panel 1, and the icon display part 34 is formed from this opening part 51. In this case, even when there is the light shielding film 22C in the non-display area, the icon display part 34 can be made into structure for transmit light. Therefore, this icon display part 34 can transmitting light from a back light 3 as well and the icon display part 34 can be easily watched even in darkness, as a result. |
