<p>A system and method for measuring and correcting the position of a patient are disclosed. According to an aspect of the invention, reference coordinates for particular body locations on the patient are determined. At a later treatment session, the relative positioning of the patient's body locations are adjusted to match the relative positioning of the reference coordinates. The entire body of the patient can thereafter be moved as a single unit to match the patient's body location with the absolute location of the reference coordinates.</p> |
