Recycling used injection syringes, especially from storage container by shredding needles and syringes together before washing and separating into plastic and metals

Recycling of syringes where moldings are shredded, washed and the plastic and metal fractions are separated either after or during washing. The polypropylene (PP) and polyethylene (PE) fractions are then electrostatically separated from each other. An Independent claim is included for the process plant which has a molding storage container (1), a mill (3) and a washing section (5) including equipment for electrostatic separation of PP and PE.
