Polyolefin pipe suitable for drinking water use, comprising at least a first polyolefin layer 1 forming the skin of the pipe, and a second polyolefin layer 2 being arranged inside the skin of the pipe and forming an inner surface of the pipe, whereby the first and the second polyolefin layers 1, 2 are manufactured from polyolefin materials having at least essentially equal properties, and whereby the second polyolefin layer 2 consists of a polyolefin material suitable for conducting domestic water and having another colour than the adjacent polyolefin material forming said first layer 1. By means of the invention, the material costs for drinking water pipes may be reduced.
