PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a contact lens which prevents unexpected loss while meeting many and diversified living styles and simplifies maintenance and control. SOLUTION: The contact lens is annularly provided with a color part 26 of a color different from the color possessed by the material of the lens and of a color different from the color of the iris 50 exclusive of its central part, by which the color part may be easily discriminated from the iris 50 in mounting. Then the contact lens 20 does not come into contact with the cornea 70 and the sclera 80 and does not inadvertently flaw the same when the contact lens is removed. If the color part 26 is provided with portions of the color or lightness different from that of the color part 26, visibility may be further enhanced. Further, if the right and left contact lenses are formed of different patterns, the discrimination of the right and left lenses is easier.
