PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To solve such problems on a water leak detector although it is put to practical use for judging water leakage by measuring a level of vibration of water pipes, that not only the constitution of this measuring device becomes complicated because a large capacity memory is required to store measured data of the level of vibration of the water pipes for a fixed term, but also, since collection of the measured data is required to be regularly carried out, the collection of the measured data becomes hard if the water pipes are buried in the accumulated snow, or the like and the cost for maintenance and management of the water leak-measuring device become large. SOLUTION: The water leak-detecting system uses a dynamic water leak sound detector for judging the existence of a water leak by measuring the level of vibration of the water pipes and the water supply flow rate-measuring device with a radio transmitter. The measured data of the water leak sound detector are stored in a data storage means of the water supply flow rate- measuring device. The data of the water leak sound detector is transmitted together with flow rate data by radio to a receiving terminal when the flow rate is read, thereby, the water leak sound detection information is read.
