PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To reduce possibility of firing of electrolyte, and improve safety of a battery without deteriorating battery performance. SOLUTION: For fire-resistant gel electrolyte obtained by gelatinizing nonaqueous electrolyte containing nonaqueous solvent and LiPF6 or LiN(CF3 SO2 )2 as lithium salt with polymer resin, a temperature T(gel) at which weight of the gel electrolyte becomes 50% in thermogravimetric analysis and a temperature T(sol) at which weight of the nonaqueous solvent becomes 50% in thermogravimetric analysis satisfy a relational expression of T(sol)>T(gel). |
