PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To facilitate fixing by employing at least one of cyclohexyl compound or steroid compound as a fixing agent. SOLUTION: A thermal layer is added with at least one of cyclohexyl compound or steroid compound so that rewriting is blocked after printing/recording is finished. Printing/recording is performed by applying heat at such extent as the fixing agent and the electron receptive compound in the thermal layer are not fused and mixed completely. Subsequently, heat is applied sufficiently for fusing and mixing the fixing agent and the electron receptive compound completely and the non-image part is fixed. A heating element corresponding to the recording image part of a thermal head is then applied with a predetermined voltage while a higher voltage is applied to a heating element corresponding to the part being fixed thus performing the recording and the fixing simultaneously. Since both the printing/recording and the fixing can be performed by means of the thermal head, no special apparatus is required for the fixing thus realizing a simple and small system where the printing/recording time is shortened. |
