<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To reduce the external dimensions of a gas insulated switching device, by permitting the first rotary switch to function as the first ground switch, and permitting the second rotary switch to function as a disconnector and the second ground switch. SOLUTION: A first rotary switch 50 functions as a first ground switch which conducts electrical switching to a ground terminal 39 at a cable head 21, a lightning arrester 25, and a voltage transformer 26. The second rotary switch 60 functions as a disconnector which conducts electrical switching between a breaker 30 and the cable head 21, and also as the second ground switch which conducts electrical switching between the breaker 30 and a ground terminal 40. The first and the second rotary switches 50, 60 have a simple structure, both of which are operated by a single driving shaft, and both switches 50, 60 are disposed between the cable head 21, the lightning arrester 25, the voltage transformer 26, and the breaker 30. Therefore, the connection of them is conducted in a small space without need for much effort, thus it is possible to reduce the external dimensions of a container 20.</p> |
