PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To easily perform modification, such as updating and improvement of a system. SOLUTION: An ECU 17 of a control system for vehicle is constituted, by providing a cooperative control ECU 21, plural subsystems to form a client device mutually connected with the cooperative control ECU 21 via a network 51, namely, a motor control ECU 22, a reaction gas supply control ECU 23, a power distribution control ECU 24 and a cell voltage detection control ECU 25. The respective ECUs 22 to 25 to constitute the respective subsystems perform control, such as an I/O processing to control signals to be transmitted and received with the cooperative control ECU 21, a saving processing and a protecting action at abnormality times, such as stoppage of the network. The cooperative control ECU 21 performs control operations, to control the respective ECUs 22 to 25 and control objects, based on the control signal obtained by the I/O processing in the respective ECUs 22 to 25.
